Native of Kansas graduates from Trevecca Nazarene University

Julie Dimick, of Goddard, Kansas, graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University, in Nashville, Tenn., on Saturday, May 3, 2014. She is a graduate of Goddard High School and the daughter of Ken and Tish Dimick, of Goddard, KS.

Dimick is receiving a Master's in Teaching of the Related Arts. During her years at Trevecca, Dimick was involved in the following campus organizations and activities: Trevecca Trojan volleyball where Dimick was recognized teammate of the year and servant leader of the year, resident assistant and was rewarded resident assistant of the year, led 2 clothing drives with the social justice club, received Magna Cum Laude, and physical education student of the year her senior year. Following graduation, Dimick plans to continue her education in the doctoral program at Trevecca while teaching physical education, coaching, and boxing. Upon graduating from the Doctoral program Dimick plans to open an orphanage overseas and teach cross culturally.
