JR Smith Makes Music Ministry Team at Trevecca Nazarene University

Trevecca Nazarene University announces the names of students who were selected to be part of its two music ministry teams, Refuge and EverPraise. Named to Everpraise was JR Smith, a Sophomore Worship Arts major from Dickson, TN. He/she plays the Acoustic Guitar and provides vocals in Everpraise.

Refuge and EverPraise represent Trevecca at church and school events throughout the Southeast, introducing young people to Trevecca. Members of these groups receive scholarships for their work on these teams.

Now in its 110th year, Trevecca Nazarene University (www.trevecca.edu) provides education to 2,500 students. Located in Nashville, Tenn., Trevecca offers 85 baccalaureate and three associate degree majors, master's degrees in six majors, and two doctorates-an EdD in leadership and professional practices and PhD in clinical counseling. Trevecca's students are actively engaged in many community services-both in the city of Nashville and in other U. S. cities and in foreign countries. Among Trevecca's newest academic programs are the following: criminal justice, health information technology, and social justice.
