Andrea Richardson cast in the Trevecca premier of Big Fish The Musical

2014 Oct 16

Andrea Richardson, a native of Madison, Tennessee, and a senior at Trevecca Nazarene University, will perform in the new and celebrated musical Big Fish when it has its Tennessee premier on the campus of Trevecca. Richardson performs dual roles in this production. Following her graduation from Trevecca, she wants to attend graduate school and establish herself in the world of theatre through directing, writing, and acting. Someday she hopes to open a theatre company that will focus on drama as a ministry. Last month Richardson had the honor of performing with Stacey Jewell Lewis in 7 Layers Captive, the drama about Lewis's abduction, forced participation in sex trafficking, and redemption, which was presented at Trevecca. Richardson is the daughter of Andre' Richardson Sr. and Lisa Woodard and is a graduate of Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet High School.

Big Fish focuses on Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives life to its fullest--and then some! Trevecca's Theatre Arts Program, under the direction of Professor Jeff Frame, will present Big Fish during the last week of October and first two weeks of November. Those performances will be part of Trevecca's Homecoming Weekend, Nov., 7-8.
